What a Day
I don't work again until Monday, so at least I have the weekend to recover, although my shoulders and back are going to be killing me tomorrow, from the surgeries I did today.
Tomorrow my brother and I are going to the Rangers/Marlins game. I am really looking forward to an evening of baseball, beer, and Bubba (my brother). Good times. Then, this Wednesday, my dad, Bubba, and I are going to the game again. Sweet. Let's Go Rangers!!! Let's Go Astros!!!
My sister is back to the real world of working again, after her 2 weeks off. Tough life for her. It does suck to come off of that vacation (which she gets every 3 weeks) to start off working nights on a Friday. The price people pay for mucho time off.
Poker Content:
I am going balls to the wall with the Crypto bonus whoring, as I have downloaded all of them. That should amount to around $400 per month in bonuses. Juicy. And, most of them don't take very many hands to clear (200-250 raked hands), which when 4 tabling, goes pretty quickly. I needed to add to my poker sites, because I'm running out of decent reloads to find. If only Absolute Poker wasn't so FREAKIN' TIGHT*, I could live off of their reloads. Seriously.
I'm trying to decide how much difference a site really makes in the win/loss column. For instance, I've lost a lot of money at Party Poker, but that's because it's like playing bingo, as opposed to hold 'em. I've also lost some money at Absolute, again, because the play there is tighter than a virgin's honey pot.
Then there's Full Contact Poker. I've lost quite a lot of money there (around $600 at the 1/2 and 2/4 tables), and I really am not sure why. I do find that the players there REALLY, REALLY like to check-raise. The play there does tend to be more aggressive than other sites, and I think that is why I'm not doing so hot there. I've also had a pretty horrendous run of cards there, with not much hitting. Interesting.
I bring this up because I'm going for the Full Contact 40% reload bonus. I'm already down $60 in a short amount of time, and I'm trying to decide if I should just let it go, and never, ever go back there again. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Keep on keepin' on.
* The spell check gave me as their number one suggestion to the word "freakin" as "foreskin." Just thought I'd share that. It strikes me as really funny. Surely, I can't be the only one.

DAMIT!!!!
1. I'm grateful to be blessed, because there are plenty of people out there that are worse off then me. I worked at a low cost vet. clinic, and I realized just how blessed I am to have the people and things that I have.
2. Midgets aren't all they are cracked up to be, even if I have them hiding under my bed.
3. I predicted that the Rangers will make it to the playoffs this year. Yes, Big R, I said it.
4. Poker bonuses are SWEET!
5. Donald Trump has some serious hair issues. Sincerely.
6. Cameltoes needs to find a house soon, otherwise we will be living at my sister's house, and I don't think that she would appreciate that.
7. Big R is a homosexual. Admit it dude, it's got to be true.
8. I found another agency to help me find work, which is greatly needed. Can't a brotha find some consistent work?
9. My brother is trying hard to repress the urge to hook up with a certain someone that he shouldn't hook up with. It's a crazy mixed up world, Bubba.
10. And I'm spent. Keep on keepin' on.

It's Like Waiting for Christmas
Then I will be able to play poker anytime I want. You see, the only functional computer is in my sister's room, where I can't exactly be in all the time. I already got the wireless router installed, and it is working, as I checked it out when Cameltoes (a.k.a. Dr. Toes) was in town. My sister is thrilled that I'm going to get it soon, as I'll be out of her hair a little more now. It's made clearing assorted bonuses a little tougher the past month, as I have to plan my playing around her schedule. Don't get me wrong, I've been very grateful for even being able to play on her computer, but I'll be glad to have my own (and so will my sister, beooooooch).
It rained like a mother trucker this past weekend, and my sister's back yard was FLOODED. The water got eerily close to the back door. Not pretty. That also meant that the 4 dogs haven't been in the backyard since Friday, before the monsoon hit. I was given a present by one of my sister's dogs. What was it you ask? A big ole pile of feces on the living room floor. Thanks a lot Goose. (Her other dog is named Maverick. Get it, from Top Gun?) Although, I seriously doubt that this Goose will die in an ejecting malfunction.

Insomnia
Especially the infomercials. Dam they can suck you in. That "Set it and forget it" dude has me convinced. I've seen that sucker, in part, hundreds of times, and each time I get sucked in for 5-10 minutes. I don't know why, I just do. I need to get a life, I guess. But I'm very grateful that I'm not in the midst of drama, like I usually am when there is a female in my life, so that's saying something.*

The Poker Stars reload bonus was very good to me. I made back my Full Contact Poker losses, and then some. It's nice to have that happen. I played $2/$4 and $1/$2 to clear it, which you can get FPP points pretty nicely 3 tabling a mixed bag of these limits. And if you've read my previous posts about the hand histories, you know that the caliber of player ain't all that high.
Cameltoes sent me an email describing the Absolute Poker reload bonus. No thanks. I really don't enjoy playing endless rounds of "Steal the Blinds." Seriously. That's what it boils down to. Round and round and round of blind stealing, with an occasional hand going to the river. Very, very tight players. If that's your game, by all means click on the link at the right and play. They have very regular reload bonuses.
I finished the Totalbet monthly bonus, for a $92 profit, including the $45 bonus, so not too shabby. If it's in the black, I'll take it. I think that I'm going to tackle the UKbetting bonus, as I need to get over the -$65 hit that I took in an hour at two $1/$2 tables. Brutal, I know. The suckouts were - how do you say this in English - bend-me-over-the-couch-and-go-to-town rough. Nice imagery I know. You're welcome.
I think that's all for today. Stay tuned for more fast paced action. Keep on keepin' on.
* Those of you that know me realize the gravity of that statement. For those of you that don't, I will be posting my story of online dating at a future date.

Writer's Block
I've gone back to the Crypto sites. Yeah, yeah, I know I mocked them over to the right (Totalbet and UKbetting) but I've decided that their bonuses aren't that bad, I guess. It's just that the bonuses were soooooooo sweet before. You only had to play 5 hours to get $45. That's not bad in my book.
Cameltoes and I have finalized our moving plans, and he booked my one way flight up to Oregon. How am I going to get back to Texas, you ask? We're gonna drive a big mother-trucking Uhaul back here. It should only take us about 3 full days to drive it. Not bad.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT U.S.A. LOST TO MEXICO IN THE WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC? WTF IS THAT!?!?!?!?!?! AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
There I got that off my chest. Unbelievable.
I've got to head to work. Keep on keepin' on.

Baseball Anyone?
Yesterday, I went with Cameltoes to look at the top 4 houses that he's considering buying. Tough choices. We'll be big pimpin' though, anyway he decides. They are nice houses. Father's lock up your daughters.
I really have been in a writing slump lately, as I obviously don't have anything interesting to say.
One of my sister's dogs ate her glasses yesterday. Not cool. She wasn't even mad when I told her. I was surprised. He also did a number on the trash and a roll of toilet paper. Yeah, I cleaned it up, being the nice guy that I am.
I'd better stop now, before I put you to sleep. Too late.
Keep on keepin' on.

Why would I raise with pocket 5's in MP? Here is why. It was folded to me and the was a dude (PLayer 3) that just posted, so I wanted to test the new guy. I also figured that I had a pretty decent shot at stealing the blinds here, and if not, than at least I had a nice hand (sort of). I wasn't really thrilled when they both called me though. Not Pretty
I was on the button with AcKc. A guy in early position raises, and it's folded to me, so I 3 bet it. He caps it and I call.
The flop is Tc2c2s. I figure that's not too shabby. He bets out, I raise, he re-raises, and I cap it.
I'm not putting him on TT, because he's a pretty tight player that wouldn't go that crazy preflop. I put him on big noises, most likely QQ or JJ, since AA or KK are more unlikely, since I have AK.
The turn is a Ks. Now I figure I'm money. He checks (I dance in my seat), I bet, he check-raises me (I start to cry). I call, now figuring that he may very well have KK, but again, how likely is it? I only call because I'm not exactly sure where I stand.
River is an Ah. Great, now I have top 2 pair. He bets, I make a crying call.
What did he have? Everyone at once now: Cowboys. My jaw dropped, and I cringed as he took down the pot.
Did I play this hand wrong? I really dont' think so. I think that I minimized my losses there. I could have laid it down when he check raised me on the turn, but I think that would have been pretty weak.
Keep on keepin' on

I just don't understand this dudes play here. I understand slow playing it on the flop, but he had to know that I had KK on the turn. Didn't he? If not he really should have know by the river. I figure he lost about 3-4 extra big bets there, simply not believing the obvious.
What hands could he have put me on? Let's go through them one by one.
AA: That had to be what he was thinking, right?
KK: I'm betting that he either knew that's what I had, but refused to believe it, or he is an absolute moron.
JJ: I can't think that he would put me on this, but hey, maybe.
AK: He might have thought that, again that would be his dream.
77: Maybe he was really, hoping that I went balls-to-the-wall with 77 pre-flop, and hit my set.
These are the only hands that I can imagine him putting me on, but shouldn't it seem pretty clear that it was reasonable to assume that I had KK? I would think that it would have at least slowed him down on the river.
Keep on keepin' on.

Rough Week
Poker Stars has a new relaod bonus of 20% up to $120. I'm gonna take advantage of it today, since I don't have a lot to do today. I think that I'm going to hit up the other Crypto bonuses out there, even though they changed up there requirements (Totalbet and UKbetting). What else am I going to do?
I don't have a lot to say today, so keep on keepin' on.

Vomiting, Regurgitation, and Hurling: A Study of How Much A Human Can Take
On a much brighter note, I finished the Interpoker bonus yesterday, with $160 in profits ($100 worth of bonus). I took a pretty nasty turn there at the end to take away about $100 in profits, as the mules managed to gang up on a brotha and kick me in da nads with a few bad beats. Gotta roll with the punches, I guess. I'll take that kind of profit each and every month, if you please.
Now to a question I've been pondering lately. Is it better to multi-table or not? And how many tables is too many?
I think that in the long run, playing multiple tables is a good thing. You can maximize your time at the tables that way. Although it is true that you miss a few things, I think that the extra hands/hour that you see should make up for it. If you are trying to clear bonuses, it's pretty much mandatory, as some of them are really, really slow to clear anyway, and playing at a single table would make it about impossible to clear them.
As far as the limit of the number of tables that you can play goes, that's an individual preference. But there is a limit for everybody, and the tough thing is trying to figure where that is. Since I have dual monitors, I can easily play 4 tables, and still see my hole cards at all times, and most of the time I can see all 4 of the boards. As of right now, 4 tables is my maximum, mainly because I like being able to see everything at a glance. I think that I could manage 6-7, but it would get a bit stressful after a while, methinks. I normally only play 2 tables, just because I like to enjoy the playing part of it. Clearing this month's Interpoker bonus, I did play 3 tables about 50% of the time, if I could find that many good tables to sit down at.
I do think that multi-tabling is a good thing, and most people will manage to maximize their profits if they do it.
That's all for now. I can't wait for Opening Day for the MLB season. Go Rangers and Astros!
Keep on keepin' on.
P.S. The Rocket is supposed to talk to the Rangers today. Interesting.

Dam It Feels Good To Be A Gansta
Cameltoes made it from Oregon today. Well, he made it to Houston last night, and he drove up to Ft. Worth today. We have plenty of beer that needs to be drank in this town, so we will do our best. He's gonna find a pimpin' bachelor pad of love to buy for the 2 of us to counquer all da hoes in dis town in.
Just remember kids, "Pimpin' ain't easy."

I Up and Done It
Cameltoes is coming up here tomorrow to look for a pimpdelic house to buy. That way, we'll have a phat house to properly pimp ho's in. Riiiiiiiiiiight. A brotha can dream, right? We already have this Saturday night planned as a big night. Cameltoes, Bubba (my brother), Kewa and about 6 of her friends, and I are going to hit the town. It should be interesting, and a good time. I'm looking forward to it, that's for sure.
I plodded away at the Interpoker bonus tonight. I'm about 80 hands away from clearing it, so I'm pretty excited about that.
There was a news report the other day about online poker. The dude stated that he predicted that it will all be over with within 5 years because of all the cheating that goes on. Could be, but I highly doubt it. There are just too many people out there that want to play, myself included. I'd sure hate to see it go, especially the bonuses, which are really helping meself out lately.
I'm about to pass out, and I can barely read the screen anymore, because I'm soooo tired.
Keep on keepin on.

This Is How We Do
Right now, I'm typing on my sister's computer listening to her itunes. What song am I listening to? "This is How We Do" by The Game and 50 Cent. Those of you that know me realize how ridiculous this is. Luckily, it is the "clean" version, so my virgin ears aren't hearing the f-bomb every other word. I just can't understand how people can listen to this all day long. Don't get me wrong, I can roll with the best of 'em, especially my G Unit crew, but come on.
Now Lindsay Lohan is playing ("Rumors", for those of you that are wondering). My sister's taste in music is seriously questionable. I feel like I'm a 12 year old girl listening to this. She reminds me a lot of that Spears girl, and by that I mean, both of them have their voices SERIOUSLY altered with digital effects.
"Why can't they back up off me?" Lindsay Lohan. Brilliant
Now "Switch" by Will Smith. At least I can handle The Fresh Prince, because "Parents Just Don't Understand." You kids out there, and by kids, I mean those of you under 20, won't get that one because you were 2 when that came out. I'm actually "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" while typing. Seriously, I'm actually doing a mini-dance whilst typing. Again, those of you that know me will realize that this is common thing for me, as I have been known to be "That guy" on the dance floor. As in, "Holy S%$t, do you see "that guy" over there on the dance floor? He really can dance. I bet he's great in bed." I believe that the previous statements were said/thought every time I've gone out on the dance floor.
"I like the way you wobbity, wobbity, willie, wiggle" That was written by the Ying Yang Twins. Damn, I wish I could write that type of prose. Brilliant. Just plain brilliant.
Poker Content:
I officially started playing poker again a few days ago. I started out with the Crypto bonuses; at least the ones that still pay you 5 pounds per hour for 5 hours (UKbetting and Will Hill). Will Hill treated me very nicely, as I managed a $125 profit, including the $44 of bonus. Not too shabby.
UKbetting, on the other hand, was not so kind. I played there for about an hour on 2 tables, and I got thrashed. I lost $66 in that time, which is pretty hefty at the $1/$2 tables. But, I thought, "At least I cleared a couple units of bonuses, so that will only make it a net loss of about $50." Hold on there partner, UKbetting changed there bonus payout requirements. Bastages. At least Totalbet had the courtesy of emailing everyone about it. So there I was, down $66 with nothing to show for it. Damit Jim!
So, I did the unthinkable, I re-deposited into Interpoker for another few rounds with Mike Tyson. I realize that this site hasn't exactly treated me fairly, but I'm gonna try it, as my favorite bonuses aren't exactly coming up roses. I wish that Paradise or Poker Stars would have a reload bonus sometime soon. And Full Contact is a great site, but I got my buttocks handed to me in a little gift box. Which wasn't cool, because imagine my surprise when I was expecting something "shiny" in that little gift box. You know, like some BLING-BLING! But no, it was my posterior. Not cool.
Sorry about the tangent there, but again, those of you that know me will realize that I never, go on tangents.
Keep on keepin' on.
P.S. Yesterday, I had my first relief job in the DFW metroplex, and today is going to be the first time I've worked on a Sunday. It's from 12-5, so it's going to be rough on a brotha. But, when I get paid a full days pay for working 5 hours on a Saturday or Sunday, you gotta take it and smile.

Hello Again
On Saturday, Big R and I waited for my dad to come down with a U-Haul trailer. We managed to load the trailer in an hour and a half, which isn't too bad, considering it was raining, and my dad didn't help us load it. Then Dad and I got a hotel and chilled out for the evening.
Sunday consisted of about 3 hours of extreme fun. I loaded both of the pick-ups, while my dad worked on cleaning up the place. Then my landlord came over and informed me that out of my $1000 of deposits I gave him, I'm going to get about $200 back. And there was NO DAMAGE. He said that he has to replace all of the carpet because the place "smells like dog." The carpets were spotless! Needless to say, I'm not really happy about that.
I did have my date with the internet girl on Tuesday. That went pretty well. I'm going to see her again sometime, assuming that she still wants to see me, but who wouldn't?
I gotta go. I'm working on the Will Hill bonus now.
Keep on keepin' on.
