As fate would have it, my sister called me this morning saying that she knew someone that was wanting to sell their ticket to tonight's World Series game. Needless to say, I got a little excited. To make a long story short, about an hour ago, my sister calls me saying that the deal went south, through no fault of hers or the guy that had the tickets. Ah, to almost taste the sweet nector that is World Series baseball, and then get kicked in the nads stings a little. Damn you fate!!!
On a much brighter note, I finally had a winning session!!!! It's been since Moses led the Jews out of Egypt that I had one. I went up about 1/2 of a buy-in so that's not too shabby. I'll enjoy this small victory while it lasts......Nice.
Well, I'm off to watch Brandon Backe and the Astros try and win a game in this here W.S. Hey, the Red Sox did it, right? Keep on keepin on.
