Hola, Me Llamo es Manuel

I've been busier than a one-armed paper hanger this past week, so I'm sorry to my faithful 2-4 readers out there that have been disappointed in my lack of writing. I know you have been pained by it.

Yep, I worked outside in my parents back yard again this week, Friday actually. I planted another 300-400 plants again. Joy. At least it was a nice day, and not hotter than hell.

Yesterday, Big R came up to visit, and I'm paying for it as I type this. He got into town about 1:00 or so, and we cracked the first beer by 1:01. We started off by hitting Lone Star Park for some Kentucky Derby wagering. I placed $40 worth of wagers, and won $28.40 off my $2 place bet on Bluegrass Cat. I completely forgot that I made that bet, until I went through my betting stubs, and the last one was that ticket. Which made me happy and sad. Happy because I won. Sad because I was going to have to wait in line for 20 minutes or so to cash it in because everybody and their dogs were waiting to cash in too. Needless to say, Big R was thrilled.

We then went to the Rangers game. It was a fun game, with cool weather, but the Yankees won the game, which also hacked me off. Oh well.

After the game, we went to a local watering hole - where, unexpectedly - Annie and her friends were hanging out. Pretty crazy. We all sat together and had a good time, but I was glad when they left. I'm kidding Annie, really I am. I was glad that Big R and her could meet, and good times were had by all.

Poker content:

I did finish the Will Hill bonus. Yeah.

Well, as Porky Pig would say, "That's all folks."

I've got to check out another puppy.

Keep on keepin' on.

P.S. Sorry for the lame post, but I'm too tired/hungover to really be very creative. The next one will be better.
